Season Highlights

Congratulations to young members: Sophie Hedley-Yorke, Kirsty Slinger and Ben Crookes in gaining their -2 handicap this season.

The Spring, Summer and Family Tree tournaments were well supported with visiting teams from White Rose and Beverley. £2000 was raised for the Club from these tournaments.

The Silver Jubilee Plate drew in a good crowd with an excellent standard of polo, in addition to the Red Devils parachuting in. Next year’s date has been set 17th –19th June 2016.

Toulston Polo Club were invited to demonstrate at the CLA Game Fair. Amidst rain and a much smaller arena than the ponies were used too, Toulston put on a brilliant, informative display that was well received by the crowd and hopefully raised awareness of the sport in the area.

Toulston on Tour. Thanks to Ralph and team for hosting a fantastic day in Manton, Lincolnshire. Great chukkas followed by a hearty BBQ.  Ralph would like to invite everyone for chukkas next year on Sunday 15th May 2016.

Toulston Charity Ladies Tournament ended the season well with 26 ladies taking part from across all the Yorkshire clubs.  The Yorkshire Rowers and their boat ‘Rose’ attended the day and £800 was raised in support of Yorkshire Air Ambulance who greatly appreciated our donation.

Well done to all members who played in away tournaments throughout the season at White Rose, Beverley, Rutland, Cheshire, Rugby and came home with some silverware.
